Nubia M2 is a mid-range smartphone equipped with Android operating system, double rear camera and the fingerprint reader.
From the point of view of design stands out the presence of an aluminum frame that provides a good solidity and a sufficient resistance to stresses over time. Rounded edges and thin profile make this device elegant and pleasant to see. On the front it is noted the 2.5D glass that covers the screen, as well as the fingerprint reader integrated into the Home key and underscored by the presence of a particular red circle. The dimensions of the shell are equal to 154.5 × 75.9 × 7 mm, while the weight amounted to 168 grams. Available colors are Black Gold and Champagne Gold.
The 5.5-inch display of Nubia M2 has a Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels, 401 ppi) which makes it suitable for playback of multimedia content on the move, with Gorilla Glass AMOLED panel and the surface to provide protection against accidental scratches . The application and data processing is instead entrusted to the processor octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 flanked by the graphics chip Adreno 506 (which gives the best of themselves with the games in three dimensions) and 4 GB of RAM LPDDR3. The internal memory dedicated to storage, however, is equal to 64 GB, with the possibility of integrating microSD cards to extend the capacity up to about 200 GB. In short, space to save photos, video and other multimedia content does not fail. Another peak characteristic of the device is represented by from 3,630 mAh battery which ensures high degree of autonomy. In this regard it should be noted the Neo-Charge technology developed by the manufacturer and useful to reduce the heat generated during the charging process.
Turning to the imaging department, the smartphone mans on the back of a double 13-megapixel camera (and the other a monochromatic RGB) with optical maximum aperture f / 2.2 to obtain a convincing effect bokeh (blurred which highlights the subject to be photographed ), especially useful for portraits. There are also a dual LED flash to illuminate the scene when there is little light and a PDAF autofocus system, all managed by Neovision software. From the front, instead, it is placed a 16 megapixel sensor (f / 2.0) for the lovers of the selfie and to make video calls.
Other features include the aforementioned fingerprint reader positioned below the screen for user authentication, WiFi modules 802.11 b / g / n / ac (dual band), LTE (800/1800/2100/2600 MHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope and the USB Type-C to be used both for recharging the battery and for data transfer.
Side software, the operating system pre-installed to launch smartphone is Android 6.0 Marshmallow , personalized with the interface Nubia UI 4.0 and with the addition of some applications chosen by the manufacturer to make the experience offered to users more complete. It is not know whether, following the debut, will release security updates for future releases of the platform as the 7.x Nougat or Android O . Guaranteed rather the ability to download, without any kind of limitation, applications and games distributed through Google Play.
