Infinity Display the trademark given by Samsung for the Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
The Korean manufacturer has recently registered the trademark Infinity Display at the USPTO in the US. This could be the name of the display Super AMOLED with a resolution Quad HD + the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The term “infinity” is clearly reported to the diagonal of the display which covers over 80% of the front body part. The screen-to-body ratio has been obtained by removing the fingerprint reader moved to back of the device, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have one each by 5.8 and 6.2-inch screen, but the overall size could be similar to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge,
A Korean source says that Samsung will produce about 5 million Galaxy S8 / S8 + by the end of March and about 8 million units by the end of April, a withholding sufficient quantity to meet the initial demand. The announcement of the smartphone will take place on March 29 in New York, while the arrival on the market is scheduled for April 21.
Geekbench database has published of the Samsung Galaxy S8+ benchmark (model number SM-G955U) with Snapdragon processor 835. Scores are 1,929 (single core) and 6084 (multi-core), the highest achieved so far by an Android smartphone. By comparison, the first place in the rankings Geekbench is currently occupied by the Galaxy S7 with scores of 1,786 and 5,210, respectively.
