Xiaomi will announce Redmi Pro 2, the new smartphone with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel.
Xiaomi plans to launch another mid-range smartphone of Redmi series, very popular in Asia as shown by the success of the Redmi Notes 4 (more than one million units sold in just 45 days).
As regards the design should not be any particular differences with the current Redmi Pro. It therefore provides a Unibody aluminum frame with a slightly curved rear sides which provide better grip. 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with full HD resolution, while waiting for news to other hardware components. The processors MediaTek Helio X20 or X25 could be replaced by a MediaTek Helio P25 or by a Snapdragon 660.
The rear camera will still be in dual camera configuration, but Xiaomi would choose 12 megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor, 25mm wide-angle lens and a lens with f / 1.7 aperture, it features usually found in higher-end smartphones. At the moment there is no information on the front camera (Redmi Pro has a 5 megapixel resolution). Other innovations are expected in the memory size. The Redmi Pro 2 should be available in two variants, one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, and with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
It is not known which version of Android will be installed on your smartphone but sure it has latest MIUI, More details will come certainly in the coming days.
